You Can Final Training in Cáceres

The YOUCAN project is a KA2 European Project aimed at modernizing and reinforcing education, training systems, and youth policies to address the challenges faced by migrant youth school dropouts and social exclusion.                         

From the 8th to the 12th of May the Final Training for the YouCan project was held in Cáceres (Spain), where the participants from each organisation of the consortium have been hosted by the Cáceres Chamber of Commerce.

The YOUCAN project partners, including 2o Epaggelmatiko Lykeio Katerinis (Greece), Camera Oficial De Comercio e Industria de Caceres (Spain), Associazione di Promozione Sociale Joint (Italy), Association Maison d’Enfant pour la Culture et l’Education Baity APS (AMECE) (Italy), and AidLearn, Consultoria em  Recursos Humanos Lda (Portugal), have demonstrated their dedication to this important activity.

On the 1st day, after a presentation of the project, the discussion focused on the main topic of the project: education and school dropout of young migrants. Then, the Project Cycle Management Approach has been introduced.                                                                                                                                                                   During the 2nd day the consortium had the possibility to know the reality of Remudarte – Cáritas Social Company (Moda Re Caritas Shop), which deals with the transformation at a social, economic and environmental level through the management of textile waste. After that, the discussion focused on the Needs Analysis, the Problem Tree and the Solution Tree, with specific activities addressed in working groups. At the end of the meeting, the EU MFF – Headings and Clusters was presented.

On the 3rd day, the Diputación de Cáceres (Provincial Council) came to visit us and presented 2 topics: Education and training Department (Teresa Morales) and EU Projects Department (Rocío Barquero). Then, after an introduction to Funding Programmes, the training focused on the Logical Framework: the groups worked actively on the Logframe creation based on previous activities results, concluding the day with the results presentation. 

After the meeting, all the organisations joined the YOUCAN Spanish Multiplier Event, for the presentation and dissemination of the project.

On the last 2 days of the Final Trining for the YouCan project in Cáceres the training consisted in the presentation of three main topics: Impact, Monitoring and Evaluation; Dissemination and Communication; Sustainability. After this, the working groups continued to prepare the proposal and presented it to the whole group.  During the morning of the last day, the final evaluation and self-assessment have been conducted.

All participants of the training actively participated to the program in order to achieve a better knowledge of the preparation, implementation, monitoring and follow-up of EU/international projects.
