Our Project Has Been Approved by AEF – Europe – Belgian National Agency!

We are excited to announce that our project has received official approval from AEF – Europe, the Belgian National Agency. This recognition marks an important milestone and confirms the relevance and ambition of what we are building together.

What is this project about?

The project focuses on the intersection of two urgent global challenges: climate change and migration. Its core goal is to build capacity and raise awareness about how climate change acts as a driver of migration — both at the organizational and community level.

To achieve this, the project will deliver a concrete set of outputs and activities, including a publication exploring the link between climate change and migration, a practical toolkit designed to support school teachers, trainers, youth workers and social workers in addressing this topic, a study visit in Ethiopia, an international workshop in Belgium, 6 local workshops and 6 webinars.

Who is it for?

The project is designed for education and training professionals — teachers, school leaders, youth workers and social workers — who work directly with communities and learners. By equipping them with knowledge, tools and resources, the project aims to strengthen their capacity to address climate-induced migration and the social injustice it generates.

Why does it matter?

Understanding the multidimensional factors that push people to leave their countries is essential to building more inclusive, informed and responsive educational environments. This project contributes to broader efforts around inclusion and diversity in education, while fostering international cooperation and knowledge exchange among stakeholders across Europe and beyond.

Stay tuned for updates on project activities, resources and results.
