HEQUITY project
at the Higher Education Transformation Week 2026
Join us in Brussels on 13 October 2026 to explore DEI in higher education
ECEPAA and the HEQUITY consortium are proud to take part in the Higher Education Transformation Week (HET Week), taking place 12–16 October 2026 in Brussels.
HEQUITY – Building Higher Education Quality InclUsIon PaThwaYs – is an Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership, co-funded by the European Union through AEF-Europe. The project brings together ECEPAA, KU Leuven, the University of Latvia, Sakarya University (Turkey), and Popoli Insieme (Italy) around a shared objective: developing evidence-based tools and frameworks to advance Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in higher education, with a particular focus on learners from migrant and underrepresented backgrounds.
The project has produced a comparative research paper on DEI practices across partner institutions and a prototype toolkit designed to support Higher Education Institutions in embedding inclusive policies at the administrative level.
As part of HET Week, HEQUITY will host its own dissemination event on 13 October 2026, 13:30–17:30, hosted at VUB’s Main Campus (Room PL.5.5.61, Van Gogh). The afternoon will include an introduction to Erasmus+ inclusion priorities, a research session presenting the project’s comparative findings, and a hands-on session introducing the HEQUITY toolkit to participants.
Whether you work in higher education management, student support, policy, or research, this session offers a chance to engage directly with practical tools and evidence-based approaches for building more inclusive institutions.
Secure your place at the HEQUITY session on 13 October.
