Supporting Employment Transitions Through Skills Development

We are excited to announce that ECEPAA is part of DIAMOND (Providing a Digital and Modular Ecosystem for Personalized Capabilities Development to Enhance Labour Market Participation and Employment Transition), a Horizon Europe project led by the University of Aarhus (Denmark), with a total budget of over €3 million, aimed at supporting individuals from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds in their pathway to employment.

What is DIAMOND?

DIAMOND is developing innovative solutions to help people build their skills and improve their employability through personalized learning pathways. The project is creating two key tools:

  • The EGROW Index (Employability Growth Index): a comprehensive framework to assess individuals’ employability growth, including their empowerment and transformative capabilities
  • The MOVEE Platform (Modular and Versatile Platform for Engagement and Employability): a digital ecosystem for lifelong learning that offers personalized micro-credentials and flexible learning formats tailored to individual needs

The project adopts a bottom-up, human-centered approach through its Grassroot Living Lab, where social innovation experiments and co-creation with stakeholders validate the solutions being developed.

ECEPAA’s Contribution

As a partner specializing in migration policy, lifelong learning, and social inclusion, ECEPAA brings valuable expertise in supporting marginalized communities. Our role focuses particularly on policy analysis and the development of policy briefs that will translate DIAMOND’s research findings into actionable recommendations for policymakers, employment services, and training providers.

Through DIAMOND, we’re working to strengthen economic resilience and reduce vulnerabilities by empowering individuals to take charge of their own skill development and career transitions.
